23rd November 2020
The Bristol School of Holistic Therapies is closing down.
It is with great regret that we announce the closure of the School after 24 years of operation.
The School has seen its share of ups and downs following the recessions of 2003 and 2008, but has been able to persevere. This time, after two difficult years of Brexit uncertainty, the hope of a return to normal has been dashed by the Coronavirus pandemic. Even with the news of new vaccines becoming available in the near future, we believe things will not be returning to a “normal” normal for at least a year. Sadly we will be unable to sustain the School for that length of time and have been left with no option but to close the School.
We would like to thank the previous owners, tutors and past students who have made the School the successful rewarding place it has been. We wish them all a happy future.
From now we will not be scheduling any courses and will only be responding to emails from graduate students and legitimate business contacts. If you are one of these please go to the Contact Us page.
This website will be active of reference only until the end of the year.

Further Course cancellations
We are sorry to announce that we are cancelling the autumn 2020 Aromatherapy diploma, Reflexology diploma and Anatomy and Physiology courses
This is due to the latest Coronavirus recommendations which we feel make it impossible to run the courses safely.
We will not be reviewing new dates for any courses until at least late spring 2021.
3rd September 2020
We are sorry to announce that we are cancelling the autumn 2020 Traditional Indian Head Massage and Introductory Aromatherapy and massage courses.
This is due to our current Coronavirus recommendations saying that any therapy around the face area is to be avoided.
This forms a significant part of the courses contents.
We will not be setting any new dates for the courses until early next year.
15th August 2020
Our course schedules were set late last year, long before the Coronavirus pandemic.
At the start of the lock-down, we suspended course enrolment until we were sure the courses would run. We have been accepting and registering course applications in able to restart the enrolment process when ready.
Since then we have been keeping up to date with government guidance and have been reviewing recommendations from our accrediting organisations.
We are investigating how and if we can run the Autumn 2020 courses safely and with the minimum of disruption.
We will confirm whether the courses will run as per the timetables as soon as we are sure we will be able.
